Given-

x = 1/5

y = 3/7

To Verify-

-(x + y) = -(x) + (-y)

Proof-

-(1/5 + 3/7) = -(1/5) + (-3/7)                                           (- X + = -)

-[(7 + 15)/35] = -1/5 - 3/7

-22/35 = (-7-15)/35

-22/35 = -22/35

LHS = RHS

Hence Proved
