Given :

Force = 10 N

Area = 180 cm sq=0.018 m sq

∴Pressure = force/area = 10/0.018=555.55 N

Pressure is defined as force acting per unit area of surface.

Required data,

Force =10N

Area =180cm²

☞as area is in cgs unit we turned into si unit

after turning we find the area as below

Area =0.018 m²

As theorem of pressure

☞p=F/A

here F is force and A is area and p is pressure

we used this formula to solve the problem

☞Force =10N

☞Area =0.018m²

☞ therefore, pressure =F/A=10/0.018=555.55 Pascal

✯Pascal or N/m² is its unit in si

✷dyn/cm² is its unit in cgs

✯pressure definition ✯

The force applied perpendicular to a single area is called pressure

✯ pressure In liquid is dependent on its volume and density.
