Force of 16N and 12N are acting on a mass of 200kg in mutually perpendicular directions. Find the magnitude of the acceleration produced?

Answer:

16N and 12N are acting in mutually perpendicular direction.

So resultant force = v(162 + 122) = v 256+144

= V400 = 20N

mass of body = 200 kg

acceleration = net force/mass = 20/200 = 0.1 m/s2
