Forests also influence climate, water cycle and air-quality. That is why forests are called “green lungs”. The plants release oxygen through the process of photosynthesis. The plants provide oxygen for animal respiration and also absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.

The Amazon rainforest functions as a giant air machine that absorbs a large amount of carbon dioxide, and produces oxygen. That is why it is often called the "Lungs of the Earth." Running through the forest, is the second longest river in the world and the largest by water flow.the Amazon River.

Forests are breathing lungs of civilization as Forest's consists of many flora, flauna and trees.  So trees plays an important aspect in all living organisms who need oxygen to survive so plants give o2 to us so that we can survive.  From forests we can get many useful things such as woods for furniture ,timber for making paper, herbs and sherbs for making medicines.
