The medieval period was known as deforestation or forest clearance. Because cultivation of crops there were many forests cut down. Forest clearance happened because of land needed for growing crops. Over hill and plains area's forests were cut down. After forest clearance there were many changes. Many buildings built there, agriculture sites, new new factories established.
