➟If the roots are given as a,b

then the quadratic equation is

x²-(a+b)x+ab=0

Given::

roots are 1/2 and -3/4

Quadratic equation::

 \sf{ {x}^{2} - ( \frac{1}{2}  +  \frac{ - 3}{4})x + ( \frac{1}{2}    \times  \frac{ - 3}{4}) } = 0

 \pmb{{ {x}^{2}  - ( \frac{ - 1}{4} x)} +  \frac{ - 3}{8}  = 0}

=>8x²+2x-3=0

Therefore the quadratic equation is 8x²+2x-3=0
