Hello there,

Speed = Distance / Time

In general.

Wavelength is the distance between two adjacent Crests or distance between two adjacent Troughs.

Frequency is number oscillations per second.

Hence Speed of sound = Wavelength (Lambda) / Frequency (Nu)

Where

Nu and Lambda are the Greek alphabets.

Hope you find my answer useful.

wave velocity is the measure of distance covered by wave partile in one sec whilr wavelength of wave if distance in which one particle completes one oscillation.

wave velocity of a wave is directly proportional to the frequency and wavelength of the wave.
