The image formed by a plane mirror is virtual and erect meaning it cannot be obtained on a screen. When the parallel light rays from the object fall on the mirror, the light rays gets reflected by the mirror as a parallel beam.
The image formed is equidistant.
It is of the same size as the object.
And it is laterally inverted.
