When the object is placed between principal focus and pole of a concave mirror, an enlarged, virtual and erect image is formed behind the mirror.

When we place an object, on the principal axis of a concave mirror at a point between focus and centre of curvature, the image is formed beyond the centre of curvature.

Nature of the image:

1. Real.

2. Inverted.

3. Magnified.
