First for integration of log x you must be familiar with the u.v rules
let log x =log x . 1
say log x =u .v, where u =log x, v = 1
here INTEGRAL ( u . v )=u . INTEGRAL (v) - INTEGRAL ( DERIVATIVE OF (u) . INTEGRATION OF (v) ) + C
or, INTEGRAL ( log x . 1 )=log x. INTEGRAL (1) - INTEGRAL ( DERIVATIVE OF (log x ) . INTEGRATION OF (1) ) + C
or INTEGRAL ( log x . 1 )=log x. x - INTEGRAL( ( 1/x ) . x ) + C
or INTEGRAL ( log x . 1 )= x . log x - INTEGRAL( 1 ) + C
or INTEGRAL ( log x . 1 )= x . log x - x + C
or INTEGRAL ( log x )= x . log x - x + C
here is your final answer.
