Answer:

speed = total distance travelled / time required.

velocity = displacement / time.

(a) acceleration = change in velocity / time. (b) acceleration = a = final velocity - initial velocity / time. ...

three equations of motion:- ...

rate of change of momentum = change in momentum / time.

Explanation:

These r the formulas of chapter force and laws of motion.

Formulas of chapter force and the law of motion are-

1. The law of motion functions on the basic theory of Newton's Law of motion.

Newton's Law of motion describes an object that is in motion and the force acting upon it.

Newton's Law of motion-

"Law 1. A body continues in its state of rest, or uniform motion in a straight line unless acted upon by a force.

Law 2. A body acted upon by a force moves in such a manner that the time rate of change of momentum equals the force.

Law 3. If two bodies exert forces on each other, these forces are equal in magnitude and opposite in direction."

2. The formulas related to force are-

a. From the second law of Newton, Force(F) is equal to the product of mass(m) and acceleration(a).

Therefore, F= m. a

b. Speed = Distance / time

c. Acceleration = Change in velocity / time taken

                         = Final velocity(v) - Initial velocity(u) / time taken (t)

d. Displacement = Time x velocity

3. The S.I unit of force is newton.
