We have to find LCM of 6 , 7 , 8 , 9
LCM = 504 s
We know that ,
1 hour = 3600 sec
2 hours = 7200 sec
Now ,
Number times they toll together
in 2 hours = 7200/504
≈ 14.28
We take integral part of it.
Therefore ,
14 times the 4 bells toll together in
2 hours.
