★Zoological Parks:

• Animals are preserved and protected under habitats similar to their natural habitats

•The specimens are living and conscious

•They are sites for business,tourism,sight seeing etc.

•The specimens are preserved are under artificial conditions

Four difference between museum and zoological park are-

  1. in museum, specimen of animals and plants are preserved whereas in the zoo, wild animals are kept where they breed in protected environment.
  2. museum are meant for scientific research and study purposes whereas zoo are meant for amusement.
  3. in museum, with the help various chemicals fossils are preserved and stored for reference purpose whereas in zoo, environment are made similar to the natural habitat for the animal.
  4. in zoo , we find only wild animals whereas in museum , we find both preserved plants and animals.
