Since the area of square is 784cm^2

so its side will be √784=28cm

Since the area of circles is max

2xdia will be equal to a side

So 2(2r)=28

So r=7cm

circumference = 2πr=14π cm

= 14 * 22/7 cm

= 44 cm

Answer:

44 cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of square = Side^2

Since we are given that the area of square is 784 cm^2

So, 784=Side^2

\sqrt{784}=Side

28=Side

Now we are given that Four equal sized maximum circular plates are cut off from a square

So, Diameter of all the plates will be same

Let the diameter of plates be d

Diameter of 2 circular plates = Side of square

So, d+d=28

2d=28

d=\frac{28}{2}

d=14

So, diameter of each plate is 14 cm

So, Radius of each plate = \frac{Diameter}{2} =  \frac{14}{2} =7 cm.

Circumference of plate = 2\pi r

                                      = 2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times 7

                                      =44cm

Hence the circumference of the circular plate is 44 cm.
