Solution :

We know that there are three people (Pinki, Rinki and Tinki)

  • Average age of 3 members = 26 yrs

  • Sum of ages of 3 members = 26 × 3 = 78 yrs.

⟹ Average age 4 yrs ago = 78 + (4 yrs × 3 members)

⟹ 78 + (4 × 3)

⟹ 78 + 12

⟹ 90 years.

Present Average age,

  • Sum of Present age of both = 2 × 28 yrs = 56 yrs

  • Ages of 3 members = 90 / 3 = 30 years

Average Age :

⟹ Average age 4 ago - Sum of present age of both

⟹ 90 - 56

⟹ 34 yrs

Percent of the present average ages :

⟹ Average age / Ages of 3 members × 100

⟹ 34 / 30 × 100

⟹ 113.33 %

  • ∴ The percent of the present average ages is 113.33 %
