Let's consider Ram ate x apples, then

15-x = 7

x = 15-7 = 8

Ram ate 8 apples.

# (2) Arjun's home is twice as far from his school as compared to temple. If arjun's home is 20km from school, how far is it from temple?

# Answer-

Consider Arjuns home from temple is x.

Then Arjun's home from school os 2x.

But, Arjun's home from school=20km

- hence, 2x=20

x = 10km

Arjun's home will be 10km from temple.

# (3) Sita ran five times distance as Lakshmana and then 17km. If Lakshmana ran 5km how much did Sita run?

# Answer-

Let's consider sita ran x km.

Then x = 5×5 + 17 = 42km

Sita ran 42km.
