If chloroplast is absent then plant will unable to perform photosynthesis.

Explanation

In the process of photosynthesis sunlight is absorbed by the chloroplasts to make sugar.

Therefore, if chloroplast is taken out of the cell, the green plant will not be able to carry out the process of photosynthesis which means the plant will die.
