There are many reasons which led to the outbreak of French Revolution . These are :-
- The third estate was under debt of every estate i.e. the third estate had the burden of taxes from the first estate ( tithes) , second estates (fuedal dues) , and the government ( taille ) .
- Subsistence Crises was also a reason . During this time, the population of France increased suddenly and there was not much food to feed the population which lead to food riots and also deaths at many places.
- The emerging of middle class. This class was of educated and wealthy people who encouraged the people of the third estate to fight for their rights.
