Fresh milk has pH 6. when it changes into curd (yoghurt), will it's pH value increase or decrease? why?

Hey..

After forming yoghurt or curd the pH value obviously decreases because of the presence of lactic acid..

  • This is because when milk is set into curd lactic acid is produced.
