chemical reaction are classified into the four following part in accordance with the nature and the number of the reactants and the product..

1.combination reaction...two or more reactants combine to from single product .

2. decomposition reaction.... two or more products form single reactants

3. displacement reaction...the reaction in which the place of the ions of less reactive element in a compound is taken by another more reactive element

4. double displacement reaction....ions in the reaction are exchanged to form a precipitate.....
