I will tell u the concept..
Verb is based on any action whereas noun for showing anythin not doin work.
So friends is noun when there is nothing to work for...
But as any action comes it becomes verb.
Example
As verb:
FRIEND. YOU FRIEND. SHE FRIENDS. HE FRIENDS. WE FRIEND. THEY FRIEND
As noun:
He is my friend.
