Yes it does. Friendship, they are beneficial for us as it makes us who we are. It also costs accordingly because mistrust and cheating are never part of a good friendship.

y5madep52dol: Yes. We must be willing to put aside our personal preferences and value others as more important than ourselves. It costs time. True friendship, however, forgives, seeks restoration, and moves on together; this is probably the hardest part of true friendship thus costing comfort. Sin will reveal itself the more time we spend with our friends; it will come out in our lives and in theirs but we must continue to love, no matter what ugliness we see, it costs love.

Friendship does come with benefits, but whether or not it costs you something depends on your company.

A good friend never holds you back or pulls you down. He/she always makes it a point to understand your point of view and advice you accordingly. A good friend’s advice is always in your best interest. But to build a friendship, you need to put strong base as any relationship requires time and communication.
