1 mole of water = 6.02 x 10^23 molecules = 18g

1g has 6.02 x 10^23/18 molecules

72g has 6.02 x 72 x 10^23/18 = 24.08 x 10^23 molecules

no. of molecules removed = 3.01 x 10^23

no .of molecules remaining = (24.08 - 3.01) x 10^23 = 21.07 x 10^23

no. of remaining moles = 21.07 x 10^23/6.02 x 10^23 = 3.5 mol
