From a circular sheet of a radius 5 cm, a circle of radius 3 cm is removed. Find the area of the remaining sheet.

Given :

radius = 5 cm of circular sheet

So, area of circle = 2πr²

=> 2×22/7×(5)² = 157.152cm²(approx.)

After removing 3cm of area of circular sheet.

2cm area of circular sheet remains.

So, area of circle = 2πr²= 2×22/7×(2)²= 25.143 cm²
