Solution

As per given statement area of circle is removed by area of circular sheet

as

area \: of \: circular \: sheet = \pi \times  {10}^{2}

area \: of \: circular \: sheet = 3.14 \times 100 \\  = 314.159 {cm}^{2}

now

area \: of \: circle = \pi \times  {4}^{2}

area \: of \: circle = 3.14 \times  {4}^{2}  \\  =50.24 {cm}^{2}

now

area \: of \: remaining \: sheet = 314.159 - 50.24

hence by subtraction

area \: of \: remaining \: sheet =  264 {cm}^{2}
