given:Area of circular sheet=4cm

Solutions:

firstly,

  • area of sheet=πr²=π×(4)²=16π

  • area of circle removed=πr²

=π×(3)² =9π

Now,

area of remaining sheet=16π-9π

=7π=7×3.14

=21.98cm².

\huge\bf{\purple{Solution:-}}

\sf\bullet Radius\:of\: sheet=4cm\\ \\ \sf\bullet Radius\:of\: circle \: removed= 3cm

Now

\bf\underline{\red{According\:To\: Question:-}}

First find the Area of sheet

\boxed{\sf{\dag{\:\:Area\:of\: circle=\pi r{}^{2}}}}

\sf\implies Area\:of\:sheet =3.14\times (4){}^{2}\\ \\ \sf\implies Area=3.14\times 16\\ \\ \sf\implies Area=50.24cm{}^{2}

Now the Area if circle removed

\sf\implies Area\:of\: circle=3.14\times (3){}^{2}\\ \\ \sf\implies Area= 3.14\times 9\\ \\ \sf\implies Area= 28.26cm{}^{2}

So find the Area if remaining sheet

\underline{\dag{\sf{\:\:Area\:of\: remaining\:sheet= Area\:of\:sheet-Area\:of\: circle}}}

\sf\implies Remaining\:sheet= 50.24-28.26\\ \\ \sf\implies Area_{remaining}= 21.98cm{}^{2}

\boxed{\sf{\red{Area\:of\: remaining\:sheet=21.98cm{}^{2}}}}
