From a container with 8 liters of apple juice and 6 liters of orange juice, 7 liters of mixture are removed. what is the amount of apple juice present in the container?

total mixture = apple juice + orange juice = 14 litres.

out of this,

it is a general assumption that the amount of mixture drawn is in the same ratio as it was present initially. so,

amount of mixture drawn = 7 L

amount of mixture left = 14 - 7 = 7 L
