Total land sold =(1/3+2/3×1×3)x
=1/3+2/9=5/9x
Left unsold=1-5/9=4/9x
Given- 4/9x=600
x=1350m is the answer

Area of the total piece of land is  \bold{1350\ m^{2}}

Solution:

Let us take the piece of land as x\ m^{2}

Now one third is bought by Rajesh that means after Rajesh bought the land, remaining land is \frac{2}{3} x\ m^{2}

After the purchase of land by Rajesh, Manoj bought one third of the remaining after Rajesh bought which is \frac{2 x}{9} m^{2}

Now only \frac{4}{9} x\ m^{2}  left.

So it means that only 600\ m^{2}  land is remaining which is equal to 600\ m^{2}.

Therefore the total area of the land is \frac{4}{9} x\ m^{2}=600\ m^{2}

 \bold{x=600 \times \frac{9}{4}=150 \times 9=1350\ m^{2}}
