Answer:There us formula=V gun=M(bullet)×V(bullet)/M(gun)

So, V={50×35}÷4000

=~.45m/s

AnswEr:

\bf{Masses}\begin{cases}\sf{Mass\:of\:Rifle\:(M)=4kg}\\\sf{Mass\:of\:bullet\:(m)=50g=0.5kg}\end{cases}

\bf{Velocity}\begin{cases}\sf{\:Initial\:velocity\:of\:Rifle\:and\:bullet=0}\\\sf{final\:velocity\:of\:bullet=35\:m/s} \end{cases}

Recoil Velocity of Rifle , v = ?

\sf\underline{\:\:\:\:\:By\:law\:of\:conservation\:of\:momentum\:\:\:\:\:}

 \qquad \sf \: mu + mU = mv + mV

Since, u = U = 0,

 \qquad \sf \: V =  \frac{m}{M}v \\  \\  \qquad \rightarrow \sf \frac{0.05}{4}  \times 35 \\  \\  \qquad \sf = 0.043 \: ms -  {}^{1}

Momentum :

SI unit of momentum is kg m/s.

Momentum is the power of motion of an object.

The product of mass & velocity is called momentum .

Thus, momentum is denoted by p.
