From a well shuffled pack of 52 cards what is the probability of getting a black queen

In general the probability of an event is ( E / total number of cases ). So the probability of getting a black Queen is , because there are 2 queens in a deck of cards ( obv you can write it as 1/26).

Possible number of outcomes = 2 ( queen of spade and club)

Probability = possible number of outcomes/total number of outcomes

=2/52

=1/26
