from as ribbon of length 12 m , three pieces of length
$2 \times \frac{1}{5} m \: \: \: \: \: \: \: 3 \times \frac{2}{5} m \: \: \: \: \: and \: \: 4 \times \frac{3}{5}$
m are cut off. what is the length of the remaining ribbon ?

total pieces of ribbon= 2/5+6/5+12/5=20/5=4

now,12-4=8m
