= 4 quadrant (1 circle, r = 1cm) + 1 circle (r = 1cm)
area of these portion = πr×r + πr×r = 2(π) cm = 3.14 × 2 cm^2 = 6.28 cm^2
area of square = 4 × 4 cm^2 = 16 cm^2
required area = (16 – 6.28) cm^2 = 9.72 cm^2
