Answer of each part is given below .

Form the figure we can see :

The angle between the interface and the ray is given as 30 degree .

Now , we know angle of incidence is angle from the normal .

Therefore , angle of incident is , i = 90 - 30 = 60 degree.

Now , angle between the extension of incident ray and interface be 30 degree ( by vertical opposite angle ) .

Therefore , angle of refraction , r = 90 - ( 30 + 30 ) = 30 degree .

Now , we need to find the refractive index :

So , Refractive index ,

R=\dfrac{sin \ }{sin\ r}\\\\R=\dfrac{sin \ 60^o}{sin\ 30^o}\\\\R=\sqrt 3

Hence , this is the required solution .
