From the following polynomials find out which of them has. (x + 1) as a factor :

( 1 ) x3 + 10x2 + 23x + 14

Answer:

as we are given (x+1) as the factor we will divide it with the cubic polynomial which will give us a quadratic polynomial. On factorising this quadratic polynomial we will get rest of the poly nomials

step-1 divide x³+10x²+23x+14 by (x+1)

step-2 factorise the quotient

therefore -2 and -7 are the other two factors
