that the family spent Rs. 600 on food, Rs. 220 on clothing, Rs. 100 on housing, Rs. 50 or

The sectors given are food, clothing,housing,comfort,education and entertainment,miscellaneous.

Each sector's contribution is added up at first= Rs. 600+220+100+50+20+10= Rs.1000.

This is the total amount spent,i.e. Rs.1000.

Now for representing it in a pie chart we need to convert each of the amount into degrees.

Using unitary method,

Total degree of the pie chart(circle)= 360°

So total degree represents the total amount

Therefore, Rs.1000 represents 360°

So, Rs.600( food) represents = (360/1000)×600 = 216°

In this way,the angle values of all the different sectors are calculated
