From the top of a tower 30m high , a stone is thrown vertically up with a velocity of 8m/s. After how much time will the stone reach the ground? With what velocity does it strike the ground?

u=8m/s
v=0(at highest point )
t=?
g=-10 m/s square
s=v2-u2/2g
=8×8-0×0/2×-10
=64-20
=44 m
t=v-u/g
=0-8÷10
=0.8 s
v1=u+gt
=8+(10)×0.8
=8+(8)
=16 m/s
