a) from the figure, it is clear that velocity is 40m/s
b) a = v-u / t
= 40-20 / 3
= 20/3 m/s sq= 6.67 m/s sq
c) between b and c,the velocity is constant. acceleration is change in velocity per unit time.
sine there is no change in velocity, acceleration will be 0
d) when the obj reaches d, velocity is zero. therefore final velocity is zero.

= -40 / 2 s
= -20 m/s sq
e) displacement = area under graph
= calculate area of rectangle and triangle
area of rectangle= 40 m/s * 3 s = 120 m
Area of triangle = 1/2 * l * h = 1/2 * 40 * 2
= 40 m
sum = 120+40 = 160 m
