from where does the ball get the kinetic energy for motion

As it falls, it starts losing it's potential energy and speeds up to get more kineticenergy. When it hits the floor it has no potential energy, but lots of kinetic energy. Another interesting thing happens when the ball hits the floor.

It depends on whether it is a bag of air or solid rubber. The kinetic energy gets temporarily converted to pressure or it gets stored in the rubber as potential energy of moleculrs which act like springs. The surface can also participate if it is elastic, by storing energy and then returning it to the ball.
