The parents of Helen Keller gifted Nancy doll to Helen on her Birthday. Helen liked her doll very much. She used to carry Nancy anywhere she went. One day, when she visited the Perks Institute in Boston along with Ms Anne Sullivan, her teacher. Unfortunately, the doll became foul and the servant determined to wash it for Helen Keller. But, soon after she washed the doll, the rags came out of it and the doll converted in a collection of rags and cotton. This was the time when Helen did not have any option but to say goodbye to her doll.
