Oxygen is the main element in photosynthesis(in light reaction).It is the electron accepter element ,which takes part in photosynthesis through the photolysis of water molecule and helps in the formation of photosynthetic assimilates(which are used in dark reaction of photosynthesis for the formation of carbohydrates). ...
