People from all over Asia came to study in the Nalanda University.
Explanation:
Nalanda University is an ancient Indian center of education situated near present day Bihar. The period of this establishment is from 427 to 1197.
Nalanda was established in the 5th century AD and became very popular under the Gupta Empire.
Scholars and students from both near and far attended Nalanda. People even travelled from Korea, China, Tibet and Central Asia to join the university.
There is archaeological evidence that suggests connections between Nalanda and the Shailendra dynasty (Indonesia). It was found that one of the Shailendra kings had built a monastery in the university complex.
