the lenght moved by extreme point of hand of clock is the arc lenght which is given by = r∆ ..
r - lenght of hand = 42 cm .
in one minute a clock hand moves 6°.
so in 20 minutes it moves 120° , which is the ∆.
in radians ∆=2.094 radians.
therefore length moved = 2.094×42.
