bus ki yatra is mainly an irony on the condition of bad transportation services in india. This chapter starts with writer along his 4 friends decided to travel by this bus at evening as tbey were supposed to be at their destination in early morning. the condition of bus was terrible. the bus was so old that writer said its not for travel its for praying. then the chapter describes the difficulties they had in their way.
