Diseases,

The full form of HIV is Human Immuno deficiency Virus that causes AIDS or Acquired Immuno deficiency Syndrome.

HIV is a type of retro virus means that they convert RNA to DNA.
Normal cells or viruses convert DNA to RNA but HIV does it's opposite.That's why it's called retro virus literally means opposite.
And gene of lentivirus virus.

HIV or AIDS is mostly spread by unprotected sex, from infected mother to baby by breast feeding,contact with blood of an infected person etc.

But most of the people who are infected are between the ages of 19 and 40.

There is no proper cure of this disease till now.
But some drugs are quite useful.They don't cure but sometimes cure the symptoms or even kill some viruses.
Examples of such drugs are ,lamivudine , didanosine ,stavudine and so on.

Bonus information : Recently scientists had gotten a hope,
I'd saw in newspaper that one AIDS infected person had got full cure after bone marrow replacement. (Don't know it properly)
