International union of pure and applied chemistry.

As the name suggest it is an international organisation present in Switzerland.

It is formed by the Union of World wide scientists for easy understanding of every thing about chemistry .

It was founded in 1919.

The main AIM for establishing a world wide chemistry organization was that When a scientists want to go to another country for research.First he have to learn the language of the country or the names of compound used in that country but it is quiet complicated.

so,overcoming from this problem in 1919 all scientists from the world come to Union and establish an organization for a world wide chemistry.

The rule of IUPAC is followed by every country.

The IUPAC provides a Nomenclature for any compound mainly organic which is used world wide for naming the compound.

Which overcomes the common naming problems. And it is widely accepted also.
