International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry
The International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) is an international scientific organization, not affiliated with any government. IUPAC serves to advance the worldwide aspects of the chemical sciences, in part by setting global standards for names, symbols, and units.
