Answer:

p(x + y)² = 5 , q(x - y)² = 3

( x + y )² = 5 / p , ( x - y )² = 3 /q

( x + q )² - ( x - y )² = 5 / p - 3 / q

= 4xy = 5q - 11 / pq

= 4p xy = 5q - 3p

= p² ( x + y )² + 4pq xy y - q² ( x - y )²

= p² × 5 / p + 5q - 3p - q² × 3 / 9

= 5p + 5q - 3p - 3q

= 2p + 2q

= 2 ( p + q )
