Night of Full Moon' by Gouthum Sengupta, depicts the irritation of a girl, chief protagonist in the story, with her parents because they always come home late. They are involved in work to earn money therefore are not able to give proper attention to the family
the Night of the full night is eaten by Gautam send Gupta. the story revolves around the death of jiji ,daughter of Mali Nath and vinata ,Jiji returns home to find her parents out .as usual, with not being able to spend time with them.,she leaves home, hoping to catch their attention. walking down the road she sees a full moon and stares at it .
she was not aware of the fact that she was watched by Neloa a Thug with history of alcohol and drug abuse. in spite of the fact that Neloa had often witnessed scenes of violence from his house he did not spare this young girl .that Night jiji was raped and killed .the next day Neloa dies in a gang dispute .
mallinath and vinata grieved on the loss of their daughter .vinata finds herself unable to move on .she spends time in her daughters old room and avoid her husband .mallinath tries to be practical about his daughter's death .he meets with his friends one night and enjoy if you too many drinks with them .when he returns home he suffer a heart attack .he sees Jiji talking to him as he dies .
