Inside a cell, numerous organelles function to remove wastes. One of the key organelles involved in digestion and waste removal is the lysosome. Lysosomes are organelles that contain digestive enzymes. They digest excess or worn out organelles, food particles, and engulfed viruses or bacteria.

lysosome are known as the suicidal bags of the cell.
if any virus/unwanted substance enters the cell, the lysosome releases enzymes and digests the cell itself.

I hope this helps.

thanks.

here is your answer..

lysosome is one of the most important cell organelle

it contains various digestive juices and enzymes..this helps to digest the foreign material entering in our body

its a kind of waste disposal system..

also during the disturbance in cellular metabolism for ex. when the cell gets damaged lysosome may burst and the enzymes digest their own cell

hope helped..
