The nephron is the basic functional and structural unit of kidney.Its chief function is to regulate the concentration of water and soluble substances like sodium salts by filtering the blood, reabsorbing what is needed and excreting the rest asurine. A nephron eliminates wastes from the body, regulates blood volume and blood pressure, controls levels of electrolytes and metabolites, and regulates blood pH.

it's function is to filter the blood.
it is the unit of kidney. the blood enters from renal artery goes to the glomerulus where the water ,salt , glucose,amino acid filter into Bowman's capsule.and the pure blood goes out through renal vein.the excess of water and glucose are also filter in loop of Henle.then urochrome mix with it and form yellowish urea which get collect into collecting duct......
